Perris, Ca - 2008 Debut 02/11/2008 The 2 day show at Perris was a success. First night on the new WolfWeld chassis proved that the new WolfWeld Chassis will be great addition to the Mellenberndt Team in 2008. Saturday night was a night to avoid the turmoil on the track. Bret did a fantastic job missing the wrecks and was able to score a decent finish in A main. Next weekend is Manzanita. Another shout out to WolfWeld, DMI and Keizer for working overtime to get the Mellenberndt Team out West!!
Perris, CA - 2008 Debut for the Mellenberndt Team 02/06/2008 Everyone is working double overtime in the Mellenberndt shop getting Bret ready for the West Coast run to start out the 2008 season in Perris, CA. The plan is to leave tonight and this could not be possible without the help of DMI and Keizer Wheels. DMI and Keizer has helped Bret out tremendously in getting him ready for the '08 season. They too, worked overtime in getting the parts Bret needed to make the trip out West. Special thanks goes out to them!
WolfWeld Cars Arrive!! 01/27/2008 WolfWeld cars arrived in the Mellenberndt Shop today. DMI parts are in and the cars are ready for assembly. Matt and Bret have a couple long weeks ahead of them as they prepare for Perris for the season opener just under two weeks ahead of them.
Matt Jacobs added to the Mellenberndt Crew 01/17/2008 Matt Jacobs from Bloomington, Indiana, was recently hired on here at the Mellenberndt Shop. Matt has many years in USAC as a crewman and we look forward into having him with us in the 2008 season!
